Steal An Egg Biomes and Speed Requirements in Order
Every Steal An Egg biome in order, with the Speed you need, the guardian to expect, and tips for knowing when you are ready to move on.
Wondering where to go next in Steal An Egg? This guide lists the biomes in the order you reach them, with the Speed each one asks for and the guardian that chases you. Use it to plan your climb instead of guessing. The numbers below are as of October 2026 and the game keeps getting updates, so always check the requirement shown in game.
Why biomes matter
Each biome has its own nests, its own guardian and its own pets. Rarer, higher earning pets live farther out, but their guardians are faster too. To steal an egg you need enough Speed to enter, and then enough Speed to outrun the guardian on the way back to your pen.
Biome list and Speed needed
According to the RBLXGUIDE biome page, last synced on 14 October 2026, the order is:
- Forest: no Speed needed, guardian Chicken.
- Lake: 900 Speed, guardian Swan.
- Desert: 10K Speed, guardian Scorpion.
- Jungle: 40K Speed, guardian Tiger.
- Snow: 170K Speed, guardian Yeti.
- Volcano: 700K Speed, guardian Cerberus.
- Abyss Ocean: 2.5M Speed, guardian Moby.
- Prehistoric: 18M Speed, guardian T-Rex.
- Cosmic: 700M Speed, guardian Cosmic Skeleton.
- Cherry Blossom: 2.5B Speed, guardian Oni Tiger.
- Titan Temple: 7B Speed, guardian Gorilla King.
- Angels and Demons: 20B Speed, guardians ArchAngel, World Burner and Aetheron.
- Enchanted Forest: 50B Speed.
The Enchanted Forest came in with Update 7 in early October 2026. RBLXGUIDE says its pet stats were not confirmed yet, and its beginner page says you must help the Wisp return to the Enchanted Tree to get in, so treat that area as new and still being documented.
A note on sources: Beebom, updated in August 2026, lists only the first nine biomes and gives slightly different details, such as Hellhound as the Volcano guardian, 17 million for Prehistoric, and Dragon for Cosmic. The numbers above come from the newer page. That is a good reminder that guardian names and thresholds can change.
How big is each jump?
RBLXGUIDE shows how many times more Speed each biome needs than the one before. The biggest jumps are from Lake to Desert (about 11 times) and from Prehistoric to Cosmic (about 39 times). Small jumps, around 2.5 to 4 times, mean you can move on quickly. A big jump means you should expect to spend longer in your current biome building Speed.
What a good early route looks like
- Forest: free to enter. Its top pet is Brr Brr Patapim, a Legendary earning 1,800 per second, with a 5 minute grow time.
- Lake: this is the first real step up. Its top pet is Leviathan, a Cosmic pet that earns 220,000 per second but needs 25 minutes to grow, and the Swan guards it.
- Desert, Jungle, Snow and Volcano: the beginner page lists top pets of Royal Sphinx (280,000 per second), King Snake (3.5 million), Ice Dragon (65 million) and Lava Dragon (100 million), with grow times that rise from 30 minutes up to 5 hours.
Longer grow times mean you collect fewer hatches, so keep some quick-growing pets around while the big ones cook.
How to build Speed for the next biome
- Hatch pets. Every hatch gives a Speed reward as well as cash. For example, the Forest's first egg type gives 420 Speed and the Lake's first gives 2,000.
- Buy treadmills. The listed ones run from the free base treadmill (2 Speed per step) through Sci-Fi, Flame and Celebrity treadmills, up to 30 Speed per step.
- Buy trails. They multiply your gains, from 1.5 times for a Grey Trail up to 3 times for a Purple Trail in the beginner page's list.
- Claim the one time reward for liking, favoriting and joining the group: 10,000 Speed.
How to tell you are ready
Meeting the number is only the minimum. Beebom warns that bigger eggs make it hard to run away, and RBLXGUIDE agrees that you must outrun the guardian while carrying an egg. So:
- Try a small egg first when you enter a new biome.
- Learn the route from the nest to a safe spot before grabbing anything valuable.
- Keep some margin above the listed number if you can.
- Use bear traps, which you can only place while holding an egg and which hold a player for 7 seconds.
Next steps
Look at your current Speed, find the next biome on the list, and check how big the jump is. If it is small, go now with a small egg. If it is large, spend a few more hatches and treadmill upgrades first. Be careful about paid shortcuts: they cost real money, so talk to a parent before buying anything.
