Driving Empire Money Guide: Best Ways to Earn Cash and Use Collections

Learn how to earn cash in Driving Empire from driving, races and speed traps, how Collections work, how selling cars pays back, and what jobs you can try.

Driving Empire is an open-world driving game by Voldex with hundreds of cars and boats. Cash is what lets you buy, tune and customize all of it. This guide explains the free ways to earn cash, how the Collections system rewards you for buying cars in sets, and which jobs are worth trying. Some pages we used were written in 2025 or earlier, so menus and amounts can differ a little today. Check them in the game.

What you start with

A 2025 beginner guide on Gamer.org says new players start with $100,000 and pick a starter car when they first load in. The game's Roblox page says it has 300+ cars and boats, so you will not run out of things to buy. Early on, avoid spending everything on one car. A cheaper car that you enjoy driving will earn you cash while you save.

Ways to earn cash

The wiki's Currencies page describes the basic sources of cash:

  • Driving around. Cash comes in just from driving, and also from passing through speed traps fast enough. The faster you go, the more you get.
  • Winning races. Gamer.org says highway races, circuits and drag races are reached through the teleport menu, and that highway races are often the simplest for new players. It gave about $8,000 per win against bots, but that figure is from 2025.
  • Selling cars. You can sell cars you bought from the dealership (not event or limited cars). The wiki says any performance upgrades you added are included in the selling price.
  • Daily rewards. Gamer.org mentions small daily bonuses such as cash or tuning kits, so log in each day.
  • 2X cash events. The wiki notes these double the cash from driving and racing for a limited time.

The wiki also says that VIP game pass owners earn 50 percent more cash while driving. That pass costs real money and is not needed to progress, so ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.

Speed traps: the catch

Speed traps pay you when you pass at high speed, but the wiki warns that passing one from the wrong side of the road takes $150 and adds 15 bounty. Bounty is a risk because police players can arrest you for it. Stay on the correct side of the road when you go through a camera.

How Collections work

Collections were added on August 9, 2024. They are sets of licensed cars, and buying every car in a set lets you claim a reward, which is a special car and sometimes a cash bonus. Gamer.org gives an example of a full brand set of Porsche models giving a 5 percent cash boost.

Important rules from the wiki:

  • You must own all the required cars at the same time to claim the reward.
  • When you claim, the game warns you that the required cars can no longer be sold. A car can belong to more than one Collection.
  • Cars you get only as Collection rewards cannot be sold.
  • Unowned Collection cars show a green title instead of a price in the dealership.

So only start a Collection if you actually want to keep those cars. One example on the wiki is the Alfa Romeo "Sportivo Collection," which starts with the Alfa Romeo Junior at $65,000, then the 4C at $120,000 and the Giulia Quadrifoglio at $150,000.

Jobs

You can switch jobs with the briefcase button. The wiki describes these:

  • Citizen: the default. You cannot be arrested until you rob an ATM.
  • Outlaw: break into ATMs around the map for money and avoid being caught.
  • Security: catch outlaws. Security players can also use aircraft.
  • Delivery Driver: collect a package within 2 minutes and deliver it within 40 seconds. Each delivery raises your level and the cash. If you run out of time, your level goes back to 0.

Delivery is the calmest job for a beginner, because nobody chases you.

Customization and upgrades

Gamer.org says the paint icon opens the customization menu with Performance and Appearance sections. It also says tuning kits (about $20,000 each in that guide) hold random parts that make a car faster or better to handle. The wiki says the Mobile Customization option costs $50,000 in game cash, and it lets you customize without driving to a garage.

Quick plan for your first sessions

  1. Pick a starter car and drive around to learn the map.
  2. Use the teleport menu to try the different race types.
  3. Claim the daily rewards every day.
  4. Choose one Collection to work toward, only if you want to keep the cars.
  5. Save cash before buying an expensive car.

Codes for cash and cars exist, but we could not confirm a reliable current list, so we have not published one.
