Sell Fries guide: upgrade order, nightly anomalies and how to win

A practical Sell Fries guide: what to buy first, how to survive each anomaly at night, how daily perks and class spins work, and how to find the key.

After reading this you will know what to buy first in Sell Fries, how to deal with the creatures that show up at night, and what you are actually trying to do to win. The details come from guides updated on October 10 and October 13, 2026, so prices and odds can shift after later updates. If the in-game menu shows something different, trust the game.

The loop: fry by day, survive by night

During the day you take potatoes from the pile, peel them in a small minigame, fry them and serve customers at the window for cash. Golden and crystal potatoes sell for more than plain ones. Customers wander off after about 50 seconds, so fry in batches instead of one at a time to fill bigger orders.

At 8 p.m. anomalies begin to appear. If your team survives until morning, you get to choose a perk. To win you need to find a key hidden in the potato pile (you dig through it between customers), open the padlocked hatch to the basement and jump in. Winning pays out 100 Gems according to the walkthrough.

What to buy first

The guide suggests this order of upgrades, in cash:

  1. Conveyor, 60. It is the base for automation.
  2. Auto Peeler, 500.
  3. Potato Robots, 1,000.
  4. Auto Fryer, 6,000.
  5. Fries Shooter, 12,000.

For carrying more potatoes at once, the Bucket costs 100 and holds 3, the Vacuum costs 1,000 and holds 8, and the Golden Vacuum holds 20 and costs 9,800 cash or 54 Gems. The advice is to upgrade to the Vacuum early, because digging for the key and filling orders both go faster when you carry more.

The Shop Clock helps you reach morning sooner, which is useful on a rough night.

The street shop

A shop outside rotates its stock each day. Two items are worth knowing:

  • Flamethrower: clears the potato pile faster and turns burned potatoes into cash.
  • Money Potion, 13,000: gives a 1.5x cash multiplier, so drink it before you burn the pile, not after.

Cars on the road can kill you. Look both ways every time you cross, even when you are in a hurry.

How to handle the anomalies

  • Dark figure at the service window: close the shutter, or let the Fries Shooter scare it away.
  • A chasing entity when you are outside: run back into the kitchen and stay away from the doors for a few seconds.
  • Potato-eating monster on the belt: hold the interact button until it is frightened off.
  • Giant with beams on the ground: step out of the circles and do outdoor tasks between its attacks.
  • Power outage: fix the wiring sequence at the lit power box.
  • Stuck robot: interact with it to free it.

The number of ghosts tends to rise each night, and some nights bring several events at once. Do not leave a problem for later.

Daily perks

After each survived night you pick from three normal perks (such as faster movement or more health) and one stronger option that comes with a drawback. While you are still learning, take health. Once you are comfortable, switch to perks that raise your output.

Classes: what the spin gives

A class spin at the Classes station in the hub costs 25 Gems, and the spin decides your class, you cannot choose. Gems come from clearing the game, and there is one free daily spin from watching an ad. The odds listed by the class guide:

  • Dishwasher, 40 percent: +5 percent money.
  • Peeler, 28 percent: +10 percent money.
  • Runner, 16 percent: +15 percent money, monsters move 25 percent slower when chasing you.
  • Fry Cook, 10 percent: +25 percent money, and hot oil cannot hurt you.
  • Head Chef, 4.5 percent.
  • Fry Tycoon, 1.3 percent.
  • Potato King, 0.2 percent: the strongest class, with +100 percent money.

Do not worry if you roll a common class. Money bonuses matter less than learning the anomalies.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Frying one potato at a time when orders are large.
  • Skipping the Vacuum upgrade.
  • Burning the pile before drinking the Money Potion.
  • Crossing the road without checking traffic.
  • Playing alone when you can team up: the guide says nights are much easier with teammates, because one player can watch the shop while another hunts for the key.

Next step: on your first runs, buy the Conveyor and Vacuum, learn the window and chaser anomalies, and take the health perk until the nights feel easy.
