Pet Simulator 99 Rebirth Guide: Where and When to Rebirth
Where the first Pet Simulator 99 rebirth shrines are, what a rebirth resets and keeps, and how to tell when you are ready.
Rebirths are the biggest power boost in Pet Simulator 99. After reading this you will know where to find the first rebirth shrines, what you lose and keep when you rebirth, and how to decide if now is the right time. Pet Simulator 99 gets frequent updates, so always compare this guide with the Rebirth menu in the game.
What a rebirth does
A rebirth is a reset that pays you back with permanent rewards. Two guides agree on the main points:
- You keep: your pets and your unlocks. One guide also lists gems, diamonds, items, potions, keys and enchantments as kept.
- You lose: your Coins and your area progress, so you start over from the first area.
- You get: rewards and access to new features and areas. One guide says every rebirth also gives a permanent +75% pet strength boost, while another lists different bonuses for each one. Because the sources disagree, check the reward list at the shrine itself.
How to rebirth
- Travel through the areas until you reach the one with a Golden Cat Rebirth Shrine.
- Walk up to the shrine and interact with it.
- Read the rewards, then press the green Rebirth button.
Where the shrines are
Shrines show up about every 25 areas. Sources agree on the first few:
- Rebirth 1: Area 25, Tiki. One guide lists a teleport, a Castle Key and 10,000 diamonds among the rewards.
- Rebirth 2: Area 50, Fire Dojo. This one is popular because the guides say it brings Clans and Auto Hatch, plus more Huge pet chance and 25,000 diamonds.
- Rebirth 3: Area 75, Haunted Forest.
- Rebirth 4: Rainbow Road, listed as Area 99 by one guide and Area 100 by another. The 99 is the common listing, but the in-game shrine is the final word.
- Rebirth 5: Area 125, Frosted City.
Later rebirths go on up to Rebirth 9 according to the guides, but the guides disagree on the area numbers for the last few, so we are not listing them here. Check the in-game menu when you get close.
When should you rebirth?
There is no single perfect moment, but these checks come from the guides and make good sense:
- Can you recover quickly? A rebirth sends you back to Area 1, so make sure you have time to climb again. One guide suggests setting aside 30 to 90 uninterrupted minutes.
- Can you rebuild your bankroll? After a reset you will want to afford a good egg in an early area and move up fast. The coin amounts one guide gives are only rough estimates, so use them loosely.
- Is the next shrine close? If the next shrine is about 10 areas away, push to it and rebirth once rather than resetting twice.
- Are your Coin gains slowing down? Another beginner guide says to rebirth when your coin gains plateau.
If you are nowhere near the first shrine yet, keep your focus on getting stronger pets and opening the next area.
After you rebirth
Use your saved pets to get back through the early areas quickly. Do not spend time hatching in the low areas again, because your strong pets can climb fast. Set up the features you just got, for example Auto Hatch and Clans from the second rebirth.
Super Rebirth
One guide says a newer Super Rebirth arrived with Update 87, Plant and Combine, in August 2026. It says you need Rebirth 6 and three Garden Missions first. This comes from a single source, so treat it as unconfirmed until you see it in the game.
Quick checklist
- Reach the shrine in the right area.
- Make sure you have time and enough Coins to recover.
- Read the rewards on the shrine before pressing Rebirth.
- Aim to rebirth once instead of twice if the next shrine is close.
