Anime Astral Simulator Beginner Guide: Power, Pets, Upgrades and Titles

How to progress in Anime Astral Simulator: what Power does, how pets and avatars scale by world, which upgrades to buy first, and how to get Titles.

Anime Astral Simulator is a fighter collecting game about steady power growth: you beat enemies, collect pets and avatars, and push through stronger worlds. After this guide you will know what to upgrade first, how pets scale between worlds and how Titles work. The progression advice comes from a guide written for Update 3.0 in June 2026, and the game has had many updates since, so newer worlds and systems may not be covered. Treat the order of priorities as a starting point.

Power comes first

Power is the main early stat. It makes boss kills and world clears faster, so put your stat upgrades into it before anything else. Rank Ups also give large Power multipliers that stack over time, so keep ranking up whenever the game lets you.

Pets and avatars scale by world

Pets range from Common to Divine, and higher rarities give bigger multipliers. Most pets also have Shiny versions with higher numbers. The key detail is that pets scale by world: a Common pet from a later world can beat a high rarity pet from an earlier one. That means you should roll pets again each time you enter a new world and replace weaker units, instead of clinging to an old favorite.

Avatars are a second layer of multipliers tied to your world progress. The guide suggests rolling until you have at least a Legendary avatar, and a Mythic one if you can. Leave Auto Roll running in the background while you farm so avatars and passives improve without you doing anything.

Crafting is another upgrade path. Three Mythic pets plus 25 world shards make a crafted pet, and three Shiny Mythic pets plus 75 world shards make a Shiny crafted pet. The guide says crafted pets are usually much stronger than the Mythic units used to make them.

The early worlds in order

The Update 3.0 guide lists eight worlds, unlocked in this order:

  1. Lobby Arena (trials, the sword banner and trial upgrades)
  2. Ninja Village
  3. Namek City
  4. Wano Island
  5. Titan Wall
  6. Solo City
  7. Slayer Village
  8. Clover Island

Move on when your Power allows it. The Titles guide updated in July 2026 shows the game had grown past Clover Island by then (it mentions Summer Art Online and Fire City), so check the in-game world list for what is newest.

Which upgrades to buy first

The guide splits upgrades over separate currencies: Trial Shards, Castle Coins and Range Shards, each funding its own track. Its suggested priority is:

  1. Power
  2. Damage
  3. Yen (currency) gain
  4. Range
  5. XP, Drop and Luck

It also says Luck upgrades do not seem to change gacha or drop percentages directly, so do not rush them. Swords add a lot of damage, and an upgraded Epic sword can keep up with higher rarity gear for a while.

Repeatable modes worth farming

  • Trial Easy (Lobby Arena): Trial Shards for Power, Yen, Damage and Range upgrades.
  • Ninja Raid (Ninja Village): a Sand Bag back item with Power and Yen boosts.
  • Titan Defense (Titan Wall): tokens, shards and crafting materials.
  • Gates (Solo City): Shadow rolls, Hunter Class progress and accessory drops.

Secret bosses drop very rarely, so the guide advises against farming them heavily early on.

Titles

Titles are permanent account buffs that drop from world bosses. They cannot be bought, rolled for or redeemed with codes, and only one can be equipped at a time. The guide says there is a pity system that guarantees a Title after 10,000 kills of that world's boss, but the normal drop rate is unknown. Some examples from the guide: Third Pillar gives Power x2, The Administrator gives Damage x2, and Upper Moon One gives Luck x2.5. To equip one, teleport to the Lobby Arena, use the Titles section in the middle and press Equip.

Codes

Codes give F2P Tickets, potions and other boosts. They are redeemed with the checkmark button in the top-right corner, and they must be typed exactly. Current ones are on our Anime Astral Simulator codes page. Any purchases in the game cost real money, so ask a parent before buying anything.
