Clone Baby Care beginner guide: feeding, bathing, bedtime and strange babies
How Clone Baby Care works for new players: the five-baby care loop, feeding and bathing, bedtime, camera flash and flashlight for strange babies, and Baby Coins classes.
By the end of this guide you will know what a night in Clone Baby Care asks of you, which chores to learn first, and how to respond when a baby starts acting strangely. The game is a survival experience by Oddbaby Studio. The Roblox page sets the scene: one night, five babies arrive at your house, you feed them, bathe them and put them to bed, and strange things begin to happen while something in the dark is after the babies too.
This guide only covers details that the official page or at least two independent sites agree on. The game is new and updates often, so some specifics may change.
How a night works
Your job is to keep the babies fed, clean and asleep while the house gets stranger. The official description names the three core chores: feed, bathe, put to bed. Guides describe the same cycle, with play time and diaper care mixed in, and they do not give one strict order for the chores. Each night you finish earns Baby Coins, the game's currency.
Both the fan wiki and the walkthrough say to follow the on-screen objectives. The opening tutorial walks you through the first chores, so do not skip it. The wiki adds that you should bring the baby at the front door inside and read the Lab Director's phone messages to see your care tasks.
How to feed the babies
- Take ingredients from the fridge in the kitchen.
- Cook them in the pot on the hob and wait for it to finish.
- Seat the babies in the kitchen high chairs. Target a baby, pick it up, then use the seat prompt on a chair.
- Pick up the pot and bring the cooked porridge to the seated babies.
The order above follows the fan wiki: babies go in the chairs, then the pot comes to them.
Bathing and bedtime
Babies that get stained need a wash in the water-filled white bathtub in the bathroom. Treat a stained baby as a priority and do not leave it for later in the night.
For bedtime, put each baby in its crib in the nursery and play the sleep music. The wiki says a ZZZ above a baby shows that it is asleep, which is a quick way to check you did not miss one before the night ends.
What to do when a baby acts strange
This is the part that sets the game apart. When the tutorial says a baby is acting strange, take a photo of it with the camera flash on. The wiki says this saves the baby and drives off the Something, the shadowy threat. The Day 1 task "Protect the infected baby" accepts either the camera flash or the Beam Flashlight, so keep one of them ready.
On Day 5 the walkthrough and the wiki both describe a ritual bedtime: the nursery turns red and an objective tells you to put the ritual baby to sleep before a countdown ends. The two sites show different timer numbers (30 seconds on one, 22 on the other), so do not rely on either figure and watch the on-screen timer instead. Head to the nursery as soon as the lights change.
Baby Coins and classes
Baby Coins can be spent on classes, which give you buffs and sometimes a starter tool at the start of a run. Sportskeeda reports that the Detective automatically spots strange and infected babies and starts with a Pure Water Bottle, while the Exorcist has a camera flash that never breaks and starts with a Beam Flashlight. Sportskeeda ranks both as the best free-to-play classes. We could not confirm class prices from a second site, so check the in-game Classes shop. One class, the Idol, costs Robux according to Sportskeeda. Spending Robux costs real money and is never needed to learn the game, so ask a parent first.
Beginner checklist
- Finish the tutorial and read the phone messages.
- Seat all babies before you feed them.
- Wash stained babies in the tub straight away.
- Keep the camera flash or flashlight ready for strange babies.
- Get every baby into a crib and play the sleep music.
- Spend your first Baby Coins on a class that fits your weak spot.
