Sol's RNG Luck and Chance Calculator

How likely is your next aura in Sol's RNG? Pick an aura or type its 1 in N rarity, add your luck setup and number of rolls, and this aura probability calculator shows the luck-adjusted odds, the chance of at least one hit and how many rolls you can expect to need. It follows the luck formula documented on the Sol's RNG wiki.

Pick an aura (base rarity from the wiki) or type your own 1 in N below.

Luck (wiki formula)
Total luck value
Adjusted odds per roll
Chance of at least one in your rolls
Expected rolls for one hit

How to use it

  1. Click an aura to load its base rarity, or type your own 1 in N number. The icons are a quick shortcut, not a full list.
  2. Enter your luck: basic luck in percent from gear and potions, a bonus roll multiplier if you use one, any one-roll special potion luck, and your gamepass.
  3. Enter how many rolls you will make, then read the adjusted odds, the chance of at least one hit and the expected number of rolls.

About the numbers

The luck formula comes from the Luck page of the Sol's RNG Wiki on Fandom: Luck = (((1 + basic luck) x bonus roll multiplier) + special luck) x VIP multiplier, where +100% basic luck counts as 1.0. The wiki then says each aura's list value is floor(base value / luck), and the game rolls a random number from 1 to that value for each aura in rarity order, so the aura hits when that number is 1. This calculator uses 1 / list value as the chance per roll, then chance of at least one hit in R rolls = 1 - (1 - p)^R, and expected rolls = list value (1 / p). Each roll is independent, so a dry streak does not raise the next roll's odds. The VIP x1.2 and VIP+ values, and the base rarities of the auras shown, were checked against two other sources: Bloxodes (Basic and Epic auras, gamepass luck) and Allthings.how (rarer tiers, March 2026).

Because rarer auras are checked first, the real chance of a given aura is slightly lower than 1 / list value; the gap is small for most setups, so treat results as estimates. Only base odds are included. Biome-native odds, breakthroughs, runes, auras with fixed rarity that ignore luck, negative luck effects, event and craftable auras, and item-by-item luck values are left out or not modelled. The preset list holds 28 popular auras whose numbers matched on two sources, not the full aura list; use the 1 in N field for any other aura. Checked on October 15, 2026. Sol's RNG updates often, so rarities and luck values can change.

Frequently asked questions

How does luck change aura odds in Sol's RNG?

According to the wiki, luck divides the base number of each aura: list value = floor(base / luck). With luck x100, a 1 in 1,000,000 aura is checked at about 1 in 10,000.

How do I calculate the chance of getting an aura in a number of rolls?

Use 1 - (1 - p)^rolls, where p is 1 divided by the luck-adjusted odds. Doubling the rolls does not double the chance, and 1 in N odds give only about 63% after N rolls.

How many rolls does an aura take on average?

On average about the luck-adjusted N, for example 500,000 rolls for a 1 in 1,000,000 aura at luck x2. Because luck is random, you can need far more or fewer; the tool also shows the rolls for 50% and 90%.

How is total luck calculated?

The wiki formula is ((1 + basic luck) x bonus roll multiplier + special luck) x VIP. Basic luck is gear and normal potions, special luck is one-roll potions such as Heavenly (+150,000), and VIP multiplies the final total.

Does this include biome odds or every aura?

No. It uses base odds and 28 preset auras confirmed by two sources. Biome-native odds, runes and fixed-rarity auras are not modelled, and you can type any 1 in N value yourself.
