Grand Piece Online leveling guide: best islands from level 1 to 675

Where to grind in Grand Piece Online at every level range, how to get through the Fishman Island maze, and which controls and fighting styles new players should know.

After this guide you will know which island to farm at each stage of Grand Piece Online, how to get past the awkward Fishman Island maze, and which basic controls and starter fighting styles are worth your time. The current level cap is 675 according to the game's Roblox page, and the game is grindy at the start, so a good route saves hours.

Best islands to level on

The community wiki's level guide gives one island per level range. Each island has a repeatable quest, so you can take the quest, fight, and hand it in again.

  • Level 0 to 10, Town of Beginnings: you spawn here. Defeat 5 Bandits, then the Bandit Boss.
  • Level 10 to 20, Sandora: go west from the starting town. Defeat 7 Desert Bandits.
  • Level 20 to 30, Shell's Town: north of Sandora. Defeat 8 Corrupted Marines.
  • Level 30 to 40, Island of Zou: southwest of Shell's Town. Defeat 7 Zou Inhabitants.
  • Level 40 to 110, Baratie: north of Zou. Repeat the quest for 8 Krieg Pirates.
  • Level 110 to 160, Skypiea (Land of the Sky): east of Sphinx Island. Defeat 5 Castle Guards.
  • Level 160 to 190, Gravito's Fort: northwest of Skypiea. Defeat 4 of Gravito's Undermen.
  • Level 190 to 325, Fishman Island: defeat 5 Fishman Karate Users.
  • Thriller Bark, up to 425: in the Second Sea. Defeat 6 Zombie Knights or 10 Zombies.
  • Level 425 to 675, Rose Kingdom: defeat 6 Crazy Wolves.

The wiki's beginner page adds a trick for Baratie: lure the Krieg Pirates to a wall, stand beside it, and let them gather so you can hit several at once. It also says the Galleon, bought in a house in Shell's Town, is the fastest boat that does not need a gamepass, which makes travel easier.

How to get through the Fishman Island maze

Fishman Island is the big grinding spot from level 190, but you reach it through an underwater maze. The wiki describes these steps:

  1. Sail to Fishman Cave, between northeast and east of Gravito's Fort.
  2. Buy an Eternal Pose from Bomi.
  3. If you have a Devil Fruit, buy a bubble from Brad. Players without a fruit can swim through without one.
  4. Buy 3 to 5 Shark Repellent potions from Linda in Shell's Town. If sharks take more than 10 percent of your health, the bubble pops.
  5. Jump into the hole in the middle of the cave and hold CTRL to sink.
  6. Touch the blue circle at the end of the maze to be moved to the island, then set your spawn.

Controls every new player needs

  • Double tap W to run.
  • Press Q with a direction to dash or roll.
  • Press M to open the menu.
  • Hold CTRL near a wall to climb.
  • Press F to block.
  • Press V to carry a downed player and B to execute one, which gives you part of their bounty and Peli.

You can join a friend from the title screen.

Starter fighting styles

You begin with the default combat style, which scales with Strength. Two cheap styles are often mentioned first:

  • Black Leg: costs 9,000 Peli from Yome at Baratie, needs no race or level, and also gives you the Geppo air jump if you have not bought it.
  • Rokushiki: costs 10,000 Peli from Lifa. The wiki warns that its damage is poor for a beginner and that it works best as a support style next to a strong Devil Fruit or sword.

If you switch styles and want the default back, talk to Olivia at the First Sea Colosseum. It is free.

Farm smarter on weekends

The game's Roblox page says every Friday to Sunday there are 2x Legendary and Mythical fruit rates, 2x boss drop rates, and a 1.25x EXP boost. Plan your long grinding sessions for those days. Premium is a paid upgrade with real money, so you never need to buy it to follow this route.

Tips for the road

  • Skip areas marked optional on the wiki when playing alone. They often hold bosses or hard quests.
  • Set your spawn every time you reach a new island.
  • Check the date on any guide you read: levels, caps and fruits change with updates, and the wiki's beginner page was last dated February 2026.

Next step: pick the island for your current level, take the quest, and move on when the wiki's range for it ends.
